Loro Piana

Jersey

Beautiful Jersey fabric created from yarn produced by the Loro Piana Yarn Division. The Jersey is designed to complement knitwear made from the relevant seasons yarn and fibres. Sample fabric available by the metre and with a full colour selection and choice. The fabric compositions include Cashmere, Wool, Cotton, Silks and Linens.

Storm System®

Taking woven fabric from the Sports Fabric Division of Loro Piana the Storm System® is a unique method of treating fabric to be water resistant and then with the further application, by lamination, of a hydrophilic membrane and then a lining, the fabric is transported into being a beautiful light flexible performance fabric for outerwear. The fabric is wind, water resistant and yet breathable due to the membranes 3 layer system. The fabrics are used in all areas of amateur sport, leisure, travel and business.

Lanecardate

Lana Cotta

Yarns from the main range are knitted into Jersey then, using the wool properties within each blend, felted and sold by the metre from stock. The Lana Cotta fabric is designed to coordinate knitwear and fabric, possibly in the same garment with no diversion of colour as they both use the same base material. Using 100% superfine Merino, Lamora (superfine Merino/Angora blend), Trebisonda and Bisanzio (fine wool & cashmere blend) the fabric are unique in that they can be cut and tailored with no adverse effect or deterioration of the fabric.

Jersey

Using yarn from the Super 160’s range of ultra fine Merino wool within the Lanecardate yarn range, the fine Jersey is created. Having effectively the same micron as Cashmere, the Super 160’s 15.5micron Merino gives an extraordinary drape, silk like feel and luxury appearance.

Beautiful woven superfine merino super 100’s flannel fabric – sold by the metre from stock.
